Living room with plenty of edge

A painting of Che Guevara’s death bed of Marco Evaristti, an elegant sofa from LK Hjelle, kelimtæppe, table with edge from Knoll, PH lamp and a pair of hands that reach out of the table. At first glance, classical harmony, but with plenty of edge closer inspection.

Dining with the Tivoli chairs

Tivoli chair, designed by Verner Panton, has been relaunched in an improved quality, so the chairs can afford to be left out. Tivoli chair is a good example of a chair which combines a simple design with comfort. You sit quite simply stunning in it. Add as Joakim Lassen et skins in the chairs when it is cool or just for extra comfort. The dining table is from Knoll, lamp above are from Floss, and fruit dish is purchased in Italy.

Put the chair on the table.

The thumbnails of Tivoli chair and ants was created as place card holders for Joakim Lassen’s grandfather Poul Fritz Hansen’s 60th birthday. The thumbnail of ‘The Valet rest’ was made for an anniversary in Danish Furniture Makers Association.

Cosy reading nook

Corner of the living room with a comfortable armchair as Womb Chair, designed by Eero Saarinen and distributed by Montana Mobile. The lamp is Tolomeo from Artemide and drawings of PC Skovgaard, Joakim Skovgaard. The flexible system of boxes is Grid rack 6060, as Joakim Lassen has passed over the doorway. Grid system was put into production by Joakim Lassen’s father Peter J. Lassen in 2003.

Living rooms

The apartment has living rooms, so from the dining room you can look into the living room. Around the dining table is the Tivoli chair. The hand-braided chair was designed by Verner Panton for Tivoli in 1955 and has been re-launched by Joakim Lassen in different colors.

Break the classic look

Break the classic look with quirky sculptures, candlesticks, pillows or the like. The ladder leaning against the wall next to the kitchen, is made of one of Joakim Lassen’s personal friends, the artist Marco Evaristti. The wall between the kitchen and the living room is partially demolished so as not to become isolated in the kitchen from the rest of the company, while kokkererer.

Fami Lens art on the walls

On the walls of Joakim Lassen home are hung several paintings and sketches made by family artists mixed with drawings by his two daughters Sophie and Katinka made. “I’m very happy for arts and inspired by art’s ability to express themselves without limits,” says Joakim Lassen, who has several friends who are artists. “To have art hanging on the walls, made by someone you know, adds an extra dimension,” he says.
