New Nordic og chiconomy
There are many different styles in furniture design, but I will touch on two special and exciting directions.
New Nordic
The simple Nordic style is back in a more warm and welcoming version. White dominates the style and complemented by natural colors that are neutral and cool dusty shades of blue.
The light woods like birch, ash and oak is frequently used to create light and lightness.

- dance China
Trend researcher tip:
Respond simply and with few things. Use the white color to walls and other large surfaces. Alternatively, you can work with gray colors – especially in connection with the furnishing as blankets, pillows and blankets. Box heat by using lots of light woods, and should avoid the dark woods.
Chiconomy is a contraction of the English words chic and economy. It is about finding delicious and relatively cheap products. Create an exclusive look without costing too much. Steer clear of expensive design products and choose the cheaper solutions – like some you can make yourself or design on.
Keywords:
Cheap but exclusive
Quality does not cost much
design even further and create a personal expression

Trend researcher’s tip:
It’s super-cool to find great recycling furniture and then give them a personal touch. Find the beautiful old lamp and give it a new screen. Change the old wiring out of colored fabric cables. Get hold of an old wooden chair, and paint it in a beautiful color – mal possibly just the chair legs. Tapetser your closets and dressers, or change the handles with new ones in bold colors.
