What is ?

Industrial design or product design as many call it, is the design of physical products. It can actually be anything from a toothbrush, a car or a coffee maker to an antenna box or control box on a crane. But equally it is interaction design, how to analyze human use of various products, and create a total experience where everything is connected. Today you can actually get an education as an industrial designer, where you learn what to focus on in the different situations. Man is the creative center of a process where the product should not only look better, but when you analyze the entire product and its users ranging from sustainability and appropriate production methods for product design, target audience and execution. It has become a very technical and demanding job to familiarize themselves with all aspects of industrial design both in terms of furniture and all other goods. You start to sketch and draw the subject.

Then make a 3D drawing, and then to make a model of the subject. Before the item is ready for production the words through many phases of evaluation, where you decide how the subject should be designed so as to partly achieve a safe and practical handling of the job, while looking smart or properly. One should of course also choose a material to construct the item in, and when material prices can vary greatly, then there’s also economic considerations that must be addressed.
